The Cricket World Cup is considered as one of the major sporting events worldwide.

This sport is practiced in the world mostly by countries that were conquered by the English in the past, as it is a sport originally from England and very traditional in countries like India – where it is considered the most important sport – Pakistan, Australia – Cricket selection of more powerful – some Caribbean islands, all the countries of the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Kenya and other African countries.

Although the sport has a long history, Cricket World Cup can say that just has a recent history. This important tournament has been played for 35 years (1 975) with the participation of the 19 countries mentioned above and their assembly and regulation is mandated by the ICC – International Cricket Council – which is the organization responsible for creating and enforcing rules of this sports. The ICC also organizes the different competitions like the Cricket World Cup, ICC Knock Out, Under 19 World Cup and the ICC Trophy.

The most successful team in World Cup cricket team is Australia who has won 4 world titles and is the Cricket World champion, won title in the year 2007. Its immediate follower and second winner historic Cricket World Cup is the selection of the Caribbean, known in these events as the West Indies, which has two world titles.
